President Donald Trump said on Sunday that if the president and his family are not involved in the investigation into the death of former President Mike Pence, it will be the beginning of the end of his presidency.
In an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Trump said the investigation is a “very important thing” and he is looking forward to a thorough and impartial investigation.
“We’re going to get to the bottom of it.
We have to, you know.
We’ll find out.
We can’t let it continue like this,” Trump told Chuck Todd.”
I’m looking forward,” he added.
“I’ve been through this before, I’m not going to let this continue.
It’s going to be very interesting to see what happens.””
I think there is a lot of circumstantial evidence, and that’s a very important thing, to get the facts out and get to some conclusions.
But if we don’ t do something about it, then we won’t even know what went on, because we don.t know,” Trump added.”
What do you think?
Do you think he’s lying?”
“You know, I’ve heard that,” Trump replied.
“We don’t know.”
Trump, who has previously said that Pence is the “worst president we’ve had in a long, long time” and that Pence should be impeached, said he hopes for an investigation by “all the other people that are there, including my wife.”
“And then you’re going, you’re not going, the next person is going to take your place, and you’re still going to have a job, and I don’t think you’re doing that.
So, I hope for that investigation,” Trump continued.”
And I hope that it gets to the truth, but I also think it has to be done by all the other individuals that are involved,” he said.”
This is going on, and the president is the one that’s the one who’s going through it, but he doesn’t have any responsibility,” he told Todd.
