It is also expected that AI will boost India’s annual growth by 1.3% by 2035 again. MeitY and NITI Aayog are working on a national strategy on artificial intelligence that was released in June 2018. This strategy defines the proposed efforts in research, development, adoption, and skills in AI.
NITI Aayog has proposed an investment of Rs 7,500 crore for funding five centres for research excellence (CORE) and 20 international centres for transformational AI (ICTAI).
