Dear Hiring Manager,
I came across the job posting of Video Editor on LinkedIn by your organization and could not hold myself back from writing to you after reading the job description. I am a creative enthusiast with 2+ years of experience in Video Editing. I create text to videos and edit existing videos for clients and in-house Marketing/Advertising requirements as a major part of my day-to-day life.
I am currently working as Junior Video Editor at a start-up AS Creations Pvt. Ltd. as a part of the Visual Marketing team. During my tenure here, I have worked on editing videos, creating animated videos from scratch, and video presentations for 100+ clients since Dec 2020. My work has directly impacted the revenue of the organization by approx. 25-30%. I have also worked on creating banners, posters, memes and other image based collaterals for the Social Media Marketing team and several clients.
Just like they say - Culture eats Strategy for Breakfast; I eat Adobe Tools for my Job. I have hands-on experience in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Other than these, I regularly work on Movavi Video Editor, Canva, CorelDraw, Audacity, PowToon, Bitables to name a few.
Furthermore, I also work as a Freelance Video Editor for an NGO called XYZ Foundation, which has given me more exposure towards Creative Video Making and improved my Video Editing skills. I also regularly interact with other Volunteers which has helped me develop my communication skills.
